  1. Wasn’t it sold and bought all above board?
    Isn’t the developer going to comply with existing zoning laws??
    Why don’t the preservationists get together and try to save something that’s actually *for sale* and make *it* a “historic landmark” before a developer buys it legally?

  2. I am SO with you! The Marlboro Inn is well on its way to becoming the next Hahne’s building. Townspeople clearly didn’t support this aging structure enough to allow its owners to turn a profit. Better a handsome, thriving community on the site than a dozen years of ridiculous legal manoeuvring.

  3. Ribbons! Uh Oh….looks like the ‘activists’ are bringing out the BIG guns. Watch out! Bumperstickers and T-Shirts can’t be far behind.

  4. Jeez, enough already… I would bet if the inn was “saved” and became a hugely successful and thriving business with events scheduled EVERY weekend the neighbors would have a lot more to complain about.
