…which were yummy, but for cleverness alone, we have to nominate the Condoleezza Rice Krispie Treats as the most intriguing offer at Melinda and Mark Ligos’s “Beat Bush” bake sale yesterday. Thirteen neighbors contributed baked goods, raising $1,115 for candidate Kerry. 
Also on the menu: Dunk Bush Donuts, WMD Brownies and “I’m Nuts Over Kerry” Brownies, Squash Bush Zucchini Bread and Swing State Strudel. Shown here Melinda with daughter Birdie, 5.
