anish_shroff_2 Anish Shroff, the 22-year-old finalist in the upcoming ESPN reality show “Dream Job,” is moving back home to Bloomfield to take part in the competition, which begins with the first show of the season on Tuesday, Sept. 14. The winner of “Dream Job” gets a one-year contract as an anchor on the ESPN show “SportsCenter.”
Shroff, who graduated from Syracuse this spring, had been working a job at a radio station there. During the preliminary rounds, Shroff was subjected to sports trivia quizzes, asked to do play-by-plays and interviewed about his favorite sports moment, which turns out to be the entire 1996 World Series. “Almost every moment of that is crystal clear in my head,” says Shroff, a die-hard Yankees fan.
