Just what we need, another brilliant Jewish writer. Ok, so maybe we’re a little jealous. Here comes Montclair’s newest literary light, Josh Braff, brother of Zach Braff (of “Garden State” fame), whose new coming of age novel, “The Unthinkable Thoughts of Jacob Green,” debuts this month. What kind of unthinkable thoughts? Sex and the bar mitzvah boy, what else? USA Today came up with the “Kvetcher in the Rye” comparison; it puts us in mind of “Portnoy’s Complaint.” Or maybe Dave Eggers (“A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius”), whose work inspired Braff.
Hey, Pam Satran, another name for the MEWS list.
