Well, at least the Brookdale Park fireworks part of it. Joey D.’s office sends out a news release with all the rescheduled concerts, including the one where we got drenched.

    1. Joey D is a media whore – I just received a multi-page color printout that probably cost us thousands in taxes just to let us know that he likes Turtleback Zoo – kiss my turtleback, Joey.

    2. Joey’s aranged for lots of spending of “Green Acres” (borrowed) money on the Turtleback Zoo. I wonder if the cost of the brochures are included in the Green Acres Grant?
      I am trying to think of a mention of his name without a mention of thousands (or hundreds of thousands) of borrowed dollars he’s arranged to have spent. I am coming up empty handed. (quite literally, I might add)
      I guess spending all that dough is a full time job!

    3. I don’t mind the spending on the parks and the zoo so much. I really do mind paying to have his election materials sent to me on a regular basis.
