Montclair Police provided additional information about yesterday’s accidental death on Valley Road.
Shortly after 8:00 am, Montclair Police responded to 530 Valley Road on a report that a worker had fallen from the roof. The decedent was identified as Victor Coelho, 26, of Roselle Park. Mr. Coelho was working with three others on the seven story building, and was finishing off the edges of the roof when he fell to his death.
What a terrible story… Having stood on my roof and looking down– I admire roofers who do this for a living. Very dangerous.
