A Bike Boy Board Brouhaha!
1. Cut administrative staff.
2. Freeze wages.
3. Renegotiate contracts.
4. Renegotiate the new school construction contract.
5. Let the little feckers walk to school.
What an effort in futility. The BOE and BOSE have already made up their minds. They intend to go with what they have and not make the hard decisions. And the taxpayer gets screwed.
How about the BOE & mayor add the federal money coming directly to Montclair in the school budget. This is for K-12 IDEA and Title I – almost $2 million additional dollars not mentioned in the school budget as income. Do that and there will be no tax increase for our schools. Everyone is pretty quiet about this even though Pascresll announced it and it is on the US Dept. of Education website – the share for all towns in NJ and other states. Go figure!
