Looking for a fun time this weekend? Here are a few choice activities.
On Saturday, head over to Nishuane School’s Mayfair celebration where you’ll find music by Parents Who Rock, entertainment, arts and crafts, a dunk tank, bouncy houses and delicious food, all with an international theme. If you see me, say hi. I will be at a booth selling Barefoot Books, my other gig. You can also head to Edgemont Park for the official grand opening of All Children’s Playground. Parents Who Rock will head on over after their Mayfair performance to entertain while you eat free milk and cookies.
Then on Sunday, 15 lucky kids will get a free children’s book at the beautiful Eden Wild Reading Room in Verona Park. Keep reading for all the details…

Grand Opening of All Children’s Playground

What: Parents Who Rock performers will sing as we celebrate the completion of our new park. Kids can have free milk and cookies.

Eden Wild Reading Room Author Visit
Who: Kids and caretakers
What: Author Reading: Ed Shankman and Dave O’Neill of I Met a Moose in Maine One Day and The Boston Balloonies. Ed will read and Dave will draw in the garden. The first 15 kids to arrive will get a free book.
When: Sunday, May 31, 2 to 4 p.m.
Where: Eden Wild Reading Room (or inside the Verona Park Boathouse in case of rain.)
