A LOT OF RAIN CAUSES FLOODS
…and a lot of rain in areas that have way too much paving causes worse floods.
Already lost power once in Pine Brook (on the Morris / Essex border for those not in the know) and at times the rain and winds reminded me of Hurricane Andrew back in ’99.
Lightning just hit a tree across the street and blew the bark off! Photos to follow (once the storms cease).
RAINS FALLS HEAVY; WALLEROO GETS SHOES WET; PICTURES TO FOLLOW.
Hurricane Andrew was in 1992. You’re probably thinking of Hurricane Floyd from 1999.
