Our children were dressed to the nines for their first day of school this week. Meanwhile, I noticed that many parents were scruffed out. I saw frazzled-looking moms and dads on the streets, at the preschool and again at Starbucks.
Is it really okay to wear sweat pants at drop off? I don’t think so. But then again, I do it every day because I drop off on my way to the gym. I tell myself that this is okay.

  1. How could that POSSIBLY make a difference in your life? Have you really nothing better to think about? Can anyone say “judgemental?”

  2. Are you kidding? What difference does it make what parents are wearing at drop off??? Or Starbucks?? Never mind that Starbucks (in Montclair) is next to a gym and down the street from the “Y” where people who workout generally wear workout clothes…like “sweatpants”. WTF????
You say its not OK but you do it anyway? What is your point???

  4. Wow. This does very little to enhance BaristaKids’ credibility as a local news source. Really? This is what you spend your time thinking about? How about we focus on some real issues, thanks.
