If you have a child, you need to attend the Montclair Arts Council’s Art Education Open House this Saturday, November 13 at the Montclair Public Library.
Montclair is a pretty artsy town, but many parents and kids don’t know about all the wonderful arts programs available, such as dance, theater, music and fine art classes. The Montclair Arts Council (MAC) was formed in 2005 to enhance Montclair’s reputation a vibrant arts community by advancing the arts, advocating for and supporting artists and cultural organizations, and encouraging economic development through the arts.
The open house will introduce you and your child to the following groups:
Crossover Project
The Clay Studio
Montclair Art Museum (Yard School of Art)
Essex Youth Theatre
Freespace Dance
MADLOM (Montclair Academy of Dance and Laboratory of Music)
Studio Kids Art
Yass Hakoshima Movement Theater
Studio Players
School of Rock Montclair
Montclair Music Studio
Katherine Osborn Acting Studio
Bass Arts Studio
Jazz House Kids
And Because Barista Kids is a big supporter of the arts, we will be there too with some artiscally-created, yummy treats. Le Baker’s Dozen has created our cute owl log in a cookie. Come visit us and we’ll give you one.
