See a Creature

It’s Dinosaur Day at Newark Museum, an annual event that is a must for the dinosaur fan in your life. (Sunday, May 1)

See a blood-thirsty, ever growing, talking plant in Montclair High School’s performance of Little Shop of Horrors. (Saturday, April 30)

Take the little ones to SOPAC’s Butterfly: The Story of a Life Cycle, which tells the journey from caterpillar to beautiful butterfly with puppets. (Sunday, May 1)

Get Moving

Join the other runners at the Seth Borden Elementary School PTA 5K. There will be races for all ages! (Saturday, April 30)

South Mountain YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day is a full afternoon of fun, fitness and more. (Saturday, April 30)

Take advantage of the gorgeous weather and head down to Long Branch for the Love Without Boundaries Family Fun Event. There will be races for all ages and fun activities. (Saturday, April 30)

  1. Since you are “stepping out” of the boarders of Montclair, Glen Ridge & Bloomfield……

    Automatic Switch Inc., in Florham Park (I think River Road) will be having its mega big once-a-year fabulous old car show. 10 AM ’til 6 PM.

    (No, to those that know me – I will not be showing any of my cars, as I have not had the free time to prep ’em). This is a fun show. I am going as a spectator with my wife.
