Missing Cat in Montclair

A reader writes:

This cat, that was posted recently as missing, is my cat, Strixidae. I got him home and he escaped again. He is an old cat and I think he gets confused and winds up on other people’s back porches. When people find him they think he is homeless, because he’s really skinny, but otherwise healthy. He’s been missing a couple days and my guess (and hope) is that someone took him in thinking he is a stray or turned him in to a shelter. Please let me know if you have seen him around Chestnut Street/Valley Road/North Mountain/or the Van Vleck area.
