An annual golfing fundraiser takes place on Monday, July 18 at The Montclair Golf Club. The Golf Classic sets its sights on raising awareness of and promoting research into pediatric cardiomyopathy, a leading cause of sudden death in children, and to finding a way to save lives.

The Children’s Cardiomyopathy Foundation’s 9th Annual Golf Classic, on July 18, will pay tribute to children and families affected by the disease, and promote research so that lives can be saved and affected children will be able to have a better quality of life. Pediatric cardiomyopathy is a disease in which an enlarged heart struggles to pump blood throughout the body. It’s one of the most difficult heart conditions to treat in children, and more than half of the kids affected will need a new heart within two years.

The event has garnered 70 sponsors and over 200 attendees from the tri-state area. Click here to reserve your spot or to pay online.
