Tonight will be Halloween for those folks who didn’t get to celebrate on Monday. Many schools are holding parades and parties today. Expect trick or treaters and if you’re taking the kids out, check here for which streets will be giving out candy.

Take the family to Art on Tap at the Montclair Art Musuem, which opened the adults-only event up for some Family-friendly Halloween fun. (Friday, November 4)

Go to a NJ Outlaws hockey game at The Ice Vault in Wayne tonight, If you Tweet (@NJOutlawsHockey) a photo of your kid in costume, you’ll get a free kid’s ticket! (Friday, November 4)

Take the family ice skating at Clary Anderson Arena in Montclair for Skate For a Cure, a fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. (Saturday, November 5)

It’s Museums on Us weekend, which means free admission to museums for all Bank of America or Merrill Lynch cardholders. (Saturday, November 5 and Sunday, November 6)

Drop off the kids at the Geyer Family YMCA and have a Parents’ Night Out! (Saturday, November 5)

Take the family to WORDS bookstore in Maplewood for two great readings and book signings. On Saturday, it’s I’m Here by Peter H. Reynolds and on Sunday, former Mayor Ed Koch and his sister Pat Koch Thaler discuss Eddie Shapes Up. (Saturday, November 5 and Sunday, November 6)

Children will love the delightful story Estie the Mensch at Watchung Booksellers in Montclair (Sunday, November 6)
