Everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day! There are some fun activities leading up to the big day to get a bit of the Irish spirit.
Go to a parade with the family, do a fun activity or craft together then get a babysitter and head out for a few pints of Guinness at a local pub.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade: West Orange
Who: Everyone.
Where: Parade starts at Prospect Avenue. Grandstands will be located at Community House and Degnan House on Main Street, West Orange, NJ.
When: Sunday, March 11 step-off at 12:15 pm.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade: Newark
Who: Everyone.
When: Friday, March 16 at 1 pm.
Cost: Free.
St. Patrick’s Day Craft
Who: All ages.
What: Make a fun craft for St. Patricks’ Day!
Where: Bloomfield Public Library, 90 Broad Street, Bloomfield, NJ.
When: Friday, March 16 from 2 pm – 3 pm

Everyone Is Irish On St. Patrick’s Day!
Who: All ages.
What: Wear your smartest green clothes and join us for a story and an easy-to-make craft, followed by a performance of traditional Irish music by Billy Karcher and Liam MacNiallais of The Bedlam Boys. Karcher (also a member of The Flemtones) and MacNiallais are well-known Montclair musicians and are proud to perform Irish music for Montclair’s younger patrons.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade: NYC

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day

Where: New Jersey Children’s Museum, 599 Valley Health Plaza, Paramus, NJ

Women of Ireland
Who: Tweens and older.
What: Enjoy a spirited St. Patrick’s Day celebration of all things Irish, featuring traditional songs and high-energy stepdancing performed by some of The Emerald Island’s finest female vocalists, musicians and dancers.
Where: Mayo Center for the Performing Arts, 100 South Street, Morristown, NJ.
