First off, you need to get you and your kids a Pirate Name. Do that by going to this Pirate Name Generator. My pirate name is Black Morgan Vane. Argh!!
Next, do something pirate themed. Here are some ideas:
- Serve your kids some Pirate’s Booty for snack.
- Read How I Became a Pirate with your child.
- Watch Jake and The Neverland Pirates with preschool kids.
- Rent The Pirates! Band of Misfits and watch with your kids.

- Watch Pirates of the Caribbean with your older kids.
- Take the family to the Montclair Public Library, Bellevue Branch for a special Talk Like a Pirate Day Magic show!
