First it was Sandy, now it’s Athena. That’s right folks, this Nor’easter has caused some districts to call delayed openings.

Delayed Openings:
- Little Falls Public Schools: Delayed start at 9 am
- Passaic Valley high School: Delayed opening at 9:30 am
- North Caldwell Public Schools: Delayed opening at 10 am
- Caldwell-West Caldwell Public Schools: 90 minute delay
- Glen Ridge Public schools: Two hour delayed opening
- Pilgrim Nursery School in Glen Ridge: 10 am delayed opening
- Montclair Public Schools: Two hour delayed opening
- Verona Public Schools: Delayed opening
- Nutley Public Schools: 90 minutes delay
- Bloomfield Public Schools: 90 minute delay
- Livingston Public Schools: Delayed opening
- Cedar Grove Public Schools: 90 minute delayed opening
- Wayne Public Schools: Delayed opening
- Newark Academy in Livingston: Two hour delay
- Montclair Cooperative School: Classes for grades 7 & 8 delayed until 9 am. All other classes begin at 9 am
