Super Bowl XLVIII Draft Night Party in MontclairCelebrate the kick-off to the road to Super Bowl XLVIII at the Montclair 2014 Host Committee‘s football Draft Night Party, April 25th, at The Clubhouse on Glenridge Avenue, 7:30 – 11 p.m.

Mayor Robert Jackson and Montclair 2014 Committee chair David Keys will announce the complete roster of events including food, films and fun activities scheduled throughout the year and culminating in a week of special events leading up to Super Bowl XLVIII from January 25th through February 2nd.

Guests are invited to check out the NFL Draft as it happens live on TV, with commentary by Montclair’s own WFAN favorite “Mike from Montclair” and his fellow sports experts “Al from White Plains” and “Dennis from Yonkers,” collectively known as The Three Wisemen and now featured on Montclair’s Channel 34. Tailgate pig roast and barbecue will be prepared by Montclair graduate Loren Hirschberg, executive chef of Craftbar and featured New York celebrity chef at the Giants Coaches Club. Beer will be provided by Brooklyn Brewery, founded by Montclair’s own Eric Ottaway, and wine is provided by the Von Hoffman’s of Montclair’s Angelbecks.

Enjoy live music by the Eugene Chrysler Band and try your hand at tailgate toss games and a round of the new NFL Game Day, the ultimate football board game. Lucky raffle winners will have the chance to take home the games and other NFL swag donated by sports novelty experts Fremont Die Consumer Products. All attendees will receive a complimentary Montclair Super Bowl XLVIII cup, too.

Tickets are $30 and spots can be reserved immediately by email to Pre-registered names will be held at the door. Payment can be made in advance by mailing a check made out to SB/MFEE “Super Bowl Committee” to Township of Montclair/Manager, 205 Claremont Ave., Montclair, NJ 07042.
