This weekend award-winning violinist and fiddler Amy Beshara and blues guitarist Max Carmichael will play traditional music from Ireland, Scotland, North America, and even Syria.

Morrow Turnover SaleThe annual mega-rummage sale known as the “Miracle on Baker Street” is open in Maplewood. Morrow Methodist Church, located on Baker Street, opens its doors and tent flaps to the public for the 80th annual Turnover Sale. Two full floors of the church are transformed into a full-fledged department store with a 40×40 tent to add even more space! Shoppers can find everything from Stickley furniture to a Hermes scarf; American Girl dolls with all the accessories to Tiffany jewelry, all for a fraction of the original price.

All We Are, A Christian band from Texas, will perform a benefit concert MESH (Montclair Emergency Services for the Homeless) on Saturday at Grace Presbyterian Church in Montclair this Saturday. MESH partners with churches and synagogues, as well as local restaurants in the Montclair community, to serve over 3,000 nourishing evening meals for homeless and near-homeless residents of Montclair as part of its MESH Cafe initiative.
