Anthony Torres and his wife moved to Bloomfield last year and had their daughter last October. Since there wasn’t a Bloomfield Mommies group, they decided to start their own and have created an open Facebook Group called Bloomfield Mommies and Daddies in the hopes to connect with other families.
“We’re looking for Bloomfield families to network, setup playdates, share local events and news that are relevant to our kids. Hopefully we want to meet local business that would host us and take part as well,” Anthony explained.
The groups first event will be a Picnic Potluck & Photo Tips outing on August 31 in Brookdale Park. Anthony is a photographer, so along with the meet up, he’ll be giving parents tips on photographing their children.
