It’s been a year since Pig & Prince Restaurant & Gastro-lounge opened its doors in the renovated former historic Lackawanna Railroad Station. To celebrate its anniversary, the restaurant is throwing a huge Pig Roast and tapping a very special Pig & Prince Anniversary Ale by Ramstein—a limited-edition Pale Ale style beer made from European pale malted barley and hops from Germany and the Pacific Northwest. The party is this Saturday, August 24 from 11 am – 5 pm.
The restaurant will unveil its Anniversary Ale, all 2,500 pints of it, during a pig roast barbecue on its new patio featuring some of its signature foods, a DJ and all day drink specials, face painters for the kids and more. Admission is $10 per person and covers all patio foods – such as a full pig roast featuring pulled pork, BBQ brisket, cornbread, coleslaw and much more.
“We are excited to celebrate our one year anniversary with this tasty Anniversary Ale made specifically for us by our good friends at High Point Brewing Company,” said Michael Carrino, chef and partner, Pig & Prince Restaurant & Gastro-lounge. “We wanted to do something different to celebrate while continuing to bring unique food and drink opportunities to Montclair’s dining scene. We think that unveiling our own limited-edition IPA will do just that.”
Go fill your glass and belly with Pig (and Prince) this Saturday.

a pig roast barbecue on its new patio…
What an unappetizing image.
walleroo, just be glad it’s not a marsupial roast.
I LOVE a good pig roast and am sure the Prince will do a great job – will be there! Just hoping they add some bushes/screens to visually separate the patio from the parking lot if they haven’t already, I’m all for people watching but their set-up is just awkward.
Good point.
Will they be roasting a prince as well?
Prince eats pig, pig eats truffle, truffle poisons Prince.
