This is the last weekend before some school starts (some of us have to wait until September 9). Still, it’s a three-day weekend, so get out and have some family fun!
There aren’t many local events going on, but the long Labor Day weekend will give you many options.
You can take a Day Trip or two, take advantage of your local pool before it closes, head to the Jersey Shore (we may try Seven President’s Oceanfront Park), or go spend the day running in the sprinklers at a spray park.
Families are invited invited to enjoy a screening of Ghostbusters! on the lawn at St. Luke’s Church in Montclair. (Friday, August 30)
Head to the New York Renaissance Faire this weekend.
Take the little ones to a storytime at Barnes & Noble in Livingston. (Saturday, August 31)
Go see live raptors at Essex County Environmental Center on Labor Day! (Monday, September 2)
According to their website, The NY Ren Faire is open weekend through Sept. 22nd.
You’re right, I’ve corrected.
