The 18th Annual Spotlight Gala at NJPAC is New Jersey’s largest nonprofit fundraising event, and supports the Arts Center’s arts education initiatives and the organization as a whole. Presented by the Women’s Association of NJPAC, this year’s gala will be filled with a magical and wonderful theme— The Enchanted Oz.
One part of the Gala is the performance featuring incredible talent. Under the oversight of American Idol musical director Ray Chew, a Magical Voices performance will feature an all-star lineup including eight time Grammy nominee Ledisi, and Grammy and Latin Grammy nominee India, “The Princess of Salsa.” Tony-nominated singer, composer, lyricist and actress Ann Hampton Callaway, legendary vocalists The Four Freshmen, and a cappella R&B superstars Naturally 7 round out the bill. The evening will also honor individuals and companies that have contributed to the arts, to Newark, and to the greater New Jersey community.
If you love amazing vocals, don’t miss this enchanting evening of magical voices, in support of NJPAC and its Arts Education Programs.
Money raised supports the Arts Center’s arts education initiatives and the organization. NJPAC supports Arts Education through Arts Training, In-School Residencies, Special Programs such as it’s partnership with The Johnny Mercer Foundation, School Time Performances and Family Workshops—introducing children of all ages to theater, music and dance, and more. Since its inception in 1994, the Women’s Association of NJPAC has raised over $40 million in support of general operations and Arts Education programs at NJPAC and serves as the Arts Center’s largest annual funding source.
