Nishuane Elementary School PTA has announced two summer playdates for incoming kindergarten students to be held at the school playground. This is a great opportunity for children to meet their future classmates and start making friends. Come explore Nishuane’s school playground and have fun at the two get-togethers:
- Wednesday, August 13, 5:30-7 pm
- Wednesday, August 27, 5:30-7pm
Please note: This is not a drop-off event — caregivers must remain on the playground during the playdate. Also, playdates will not be held if it is raining.
Additionally, Nishuane School would like to announce two other events for incoming Kindergarten families:
Nishuane A-Z Orientation Night
The parents and guardians of incoming Kindergarten students and students who are new to Nishuane are invited to attend A-Z Orientation Night on Wednesday, August 20 from 6 – 7 pm. This is an opportunity for parents to join the principal and assistant principal for an overview of procedures, policies, and curriculum. In addition, Kindergarten teachers will present “Kindergarten 101” to give families a snapshot of their child’s kindergarten experience. Families will gain insight into how to prepare themselves and their children for a wonderful and successful year. Supervised play will be provided for children 3 years old and above.
Ice Cream Social
Nishuane School invites incoming Kindergarten students to meet their teachers at the Ice Cream Social to be held on Wednesday, September 3 from 6 – 7 pm.
