Sneaky Chef Chocolate No-Nut Butter

Missy Chase Lapine, who parents may know from her Sneaky Chef Method and series of books, has developed a new Sneaky Chef Chocolate No-Nut Butter that is so damn good I almost cried when I tasted it. Crying over a chocolate spread? Let me explain…

We found out my oldest daughter, age 10, had a severe peanut allergy and slight hazelnut allergy when she was two years old. Since then, this peanut loving, Nutella addicted mom hasn’t been able to eat the stuff. And neither has my daughter, until Lapine made this delicious, and safe, chocolate no-nut butter.

I gave my daughter Chocolate No-Nut Butter for snack last week with some pretzels for dipping. I didn’t let her read the label, just told her it was a safe chocolate spread she could enjoy. She loved it and asked for more. This is a child who, despite 10 years of trying to feed her vegetables, will not let 99 percent of them pass her lips. She’s extremely picky and has a lot of texture aversion.

Sneaky Chef Chocolate No-Nut Butter is so thick and fudgy. You can eat it right out of the jar, or warm it up for dipping.

Lapine originally created her company Sneaky Chef Foods to develop products that improve children’s health by helping moms easily feed their kids the veggies they need in the foods they already love. Then her daughter was diagnosed with a peanut allergy, and Missy created a peanut butter alternative made with golden peas called Sneaky Chef No-Nut Butter. It’s a really good alternative and, because it’s made with peas, really healthy.

Now, building on that, Lapine has created a Chocolate version and has launched a Kickstarter campaign to get Sneaky Chef Chocolate No-Nut Butter mass produced and available at your local supermarket.

Sneaky Chef Chocolate No-Nut Butter  has half the sugar of the leading chocolate spreads, is made with non-gmo ingredients, is peanut, tree nut-free, soy, gluten, and dairy free, making it a perfect alternative for kids with many food allergies. It’s also made with golden peas, but I guarantee you your kids will have no idea.

I received samples of Sneaky Chef No-Nut Butters for my honest review.
