The Montclair Shared Housing Association, a non-profit organization that operates the historic Montclair Inn, an affordable housing residence for 21 independent seniors on Hillside Avenue, is pleased to announce its hiring of Joy Kay as Executive Director, effective January 5, 2015. Ms. Kay, a long time resident of Montclair, also works as a grant writing and social media consultant with HOMECorp. Kay earned a B.A. in Political Science and English from Rutgers University and a M.A. in Administration and Supervision from Montclair State University.
Maureen Donahoe, President of Montclair Shared Housing Association’s Board of Trustees says, “Given Joy’s many years of work and volunteer experience in program coordination, administration, marketing, and development, we are delighted that she has accepted the position of Executive Director at the Montclair Inn. We are confident that she will not only manage the daily operations of the Inn effectively, but also help our gem of a non-profit become well known in this community that cares deeply about both affordable housing and its senior citizens.”
