Rachel Crampsey, owner of Montclair Bread Company, and her staff will be making a lot more doughnuts starting next month. After a search for a new cafe to fill the space when Terra Tea Salon closed at Montclair Public Library, the library has approved Montclair Bread Co. at the Isabel Rose Café, which will open on November 12.
Crampsey tells Baristanet she is so excited about the approval. “Having three kids and patronizing the library as much as we do, it was really just the perfect space.” She adds, “To be able offer support to the Montclair Public Library is so special.”
Montclair Bread Co. at the Isabel Rose Café will serve a full assortment of mini doughnuts, croissants, and Danishes, as well as soups, salads and sandwiches made to order. You can also enjoy espresso, coffee drinks, and hot tea.
This expansion comes at the same time as MBC’s other big expansion on Label Street taking place next week, and the start of construction to make the Walnut Street spot larger with a sit down cafe.
The Montclair Women’s Club is just around the corner and we will be stopping by to sample the new goodies! Congratulations on your new adventure 🙂
