The Montclair Township Animal Shelter and Pit Bull Mate are teaming up to host a community “Our Pound in Town” Block Party on Sunday, April 10.
“The block party will be a way for the community to learn more about the shelter and all the services we provide,” said Shelter Director Niki Dawson. “We’ll also be showing off our wonderful shelter pets who are looking for their forever homes.”
Montclair businessman and creator/owner of Pit Bull Mate Jeremy Pholwattana is a major sponsor of the “Our Pound in Town” block party. He’ll be on hand to answer questions about pit bulls and the pit bull owners community he helped develop through Pitbullmate.com — an online service designed specifically to bring awareness to this much maligned breed and to connect shelters, owners, and foster owners in an interactive setting.
Local vendors and friends will provide food, beverages, ice cream, balloons, children’s activities, a DJ, a band, and so much more! Join your friends and neighbors — two- and four-footed — for a fun family day and help raise awareness for the Montclair Township Animal Shelter and its animals.
