Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr. (center) hosted the Annual Essex County Annual Jewish Heritage Celebration on April 27. The festive event recognized the influence and positive impact that Jewish people have had, and continue to have, on the economy and culture of Essex County. During the ceremony, DiVincenzo presented Star of Essex Awards to Nancy Cantor (second from left), Chancellor of Rutgers University-Newark, and Donald Katz (fourth from left), Founder and CEO of Audible, Inc. With the County Executive are NJ State Senator and Deputy Chief of Staff Teresa Ruiz and Chief of Staff Philip Alagia.
