Two years ago, Investor’s Bank donated the building located at 505 Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair, to the Montclair Film Festival, now known as Montclair Film. This morning, the Montclair Film Investors Bank Film and Media Center had its official opening with a ribbon cutting.

The lobby features Montclair Film’s new Box Office, which will sell tickets to the Montclair Film Festival, and the doors to the building’s new screening and event room, named Cinema505, will be open for public viewing.

Year-round film programming, led by Education Director Sue Hollenberg, will take place in a spacious studio which has direct entry from the rear parking garage level.

The 6th annual Montclair Film Festival  will take place April 28 – May 7. Tickets go on sale for Montclair Film members on Monday, April 3 at 10 am, and to the general public on Friday, April 7 at 10 am. Tickets are available online or at the festival’s new Box Office, located in the lobby of the Investors Bank Film & Media Center at 505 Bloomfield Avenue in downtown Montclair.
