On Monday, Oct. 23, at 7 p.m., Cornerstone Montclair is hosting a reading of Montclair playwright Nadine Bernard’s new play, “Seize the Day After,” directed by Jane Mandel, founding artistic director emerita of Luna Stage.
“The play is about a couple, Peggy and Matt, who have a young child with a medical condition, but they don’t see eye-to-eye about which way to turn next,” Bernard said in a release.
Five New Jersey actors, Claire McClanahan (Metuchen), Brian Ach (West Orange), Alexa Teebo (Union), Kathleen Marsh (Stillwater), and Melissa Schaffer (Montclair), will be taking part in the reading.
There will be a talk back after the reading.
