11-13-2017 (Mission Street) Four Montclair juveniles were charged with Defiant Trespass for entering and utilizing a vacant apartment.

Burglary/Theft:

11-07-2017 (Wayside Place) Burglary to a residence. No sign of forced entry. Jewelry was taken in this incident.

11-09-2017 (Walnut Street) An unlocked bicycle was stolen from the front of a business.

11-09-2017 (Bay Street) Theft of a bicycle which had been left locked to the Bay Street Station bike rack.

11-10-2017 (Orange Road) Theft of a beige Ford Econoline Van containing power tools.

11-10-2017 (Church Street) An employee from a Church Street business accidentally dropped a cash deposit bag containing $350 on the sidewalk and then observed a man pick it up and immediately board a Transit Bus. The suspect who fled with the deposit bag was described as an African-American male in his 30’s, wearing a green hooded sweatshirt.

11-13-2017 (Glenridge Avenue) An unlocked vehicle was entered. Phone chargers and loose change were taken.

11-13-2017 (Glenridge Avenue) An unlocked vehicle was rummaged through. It is unknown if anything was taken in this incident.

11-13-2017 (Bloomfield Avenue, Crown Fried Chicken) Theft of a backpack containing personal documents.

11-13-2017 (Harrison Avenue) Theft of a delivered package from the front of a residence. This package contained a toilet seat.
