A. John DiMilia Sr., 81, of West Caldwell formerly of Montclair, died on Saturday July 14, 2018.
Mr. DiMilia was owner and president of John DiMilia and Sons in Montclair in which his father started in 1929. He was a charter member of The American Sports Builders Association, and enjoyed the winter in Naples, Florida.
Mr. DiMilia is survived by his wife of 57 years, Lynn (nee Thorward), his children, Anthony John DiMilia Jr. and his wife Michelle, Cheryl Lynn Miller and her husband Craig, Cindy Lynn Faloni and her husband James, his sister Lucy Ferrera , his grandchildren, James Jason Faloni Jr., John David Faloni, and Jessie Lynn Faloni. He was predeceased by his brothers Mario and Gino DiMilia.
Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m Wednesday, July 18 at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove St, Montclair. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, July 19 at Notre Dame Church in North Caldwell, the interment to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Upper Montclair.
