Bloomfield Center’s first ever Food Tour, presented by the Bloomfield Center Alliance, launches this summer on Saturday, June 22, from 2-5 p.m.
This food-filled trek through Bloomfield Center’s business district will include a guided experience with stops for scrumptious samples at 5+ restaurants. The event will provide the opportunity for guests to connect with chefs and owners and feature cuisine ranging from Italian to Jamaican to the American South.
The Bloomfield Center food tour will begin and end at Bloomfield’s historic Lackawanna Train Station and involve short walks between restaurants.
Participating restaurants in this tour include: Bloomfield Steak & Seafood, Bucco, Anthony’s Cheesecake, Dev’s Jamaican Cuisine, The Wooden Spoon Saloon, Aki Asian Cuisine, and Essex Junction Craft Kitchen and Bar.
“The Food Tour of Bloomfield Center will showcase the incredible, multi-ethnic, creative, and walkable food scene here in Bloomfield Center,” says Ollyn Lettman, Director of the Bloomfield Center Alliance. “We have restaurants in the Center that have been open for years like Bloomfield Steak & Seafood and others that just opened this month like Bucco, and we’re excited for people to experience a number of them.”
A guide will lead the tour along with staff from the Bloomfield Center Alliance to provide information on the history and plans for the area along with expert tips on shopping for goods and services, living, and food in the Center.
Participants will also be provided takeaway with information on all restaurants in Bloomfield Center.
