Montclair Art Museum announces its highly-anticipated grown-ups-only fall social event, ART uncorked, an evening of art, wine and music on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 7:00 pm.

Sip. High-quality wines for the entire evening are chosen by event partner, Montclair’s own Amanti Vino, and are artfully paired with a variety of hot and cold hors d’oeuvres and sweet treats by Events by Addison Taylor (E.A.T.). A highlight of the event will be a blind wine tasting, specially curated by Amanti Vino, where patrons can test their palettes and identify the grape, region and vintages of each selection.

Bid. The evening will feature an opportunity for attendees to acquire one-of-a-kind fine art and prints through a silent auction of affordable works from established and emerging artists. More than 25 works will be up for auction, by artists Robert Rauschenberg, Jaune Quick-To-See-Smith, Ira Wagner, Philemona Williamson and more.

Dance. Get ready to boogie! The party will be moving and grooving as WFUV DJs spin tunes all evening.

According to MAM Director of Development, Beth Hart, wine tasting events are always popular with museum patrons, but this year’s fall event will attract a whole new audience to the museum for the affordable art auction.

“Art Uncorked will be the perfect date night or GNO, as well as a great opportunity to acquire some beautiful affordable art pieces,” says Hart. “Book those babysitters!”

Tickets are $75 for Montclair Art Museum members and $100 for non-members. A special Junior Patron ticket is available for ages 21 to 30 for $50. All proceeds support MAM’s exhibition and education programs.
