Tune in to FEED YOUR SOUL this Friday, a virtual concert to raise money for Toni’s Kitchen.
“This will be a very expensive summer for our organization,” said Anne Mernin, Director of Toni’s Kitchen. “Every week we are providing over 1200 families with groceries, fresh produce and dairy; and over 700 senior citizens with groceries and home-made meals delivered to their home. The need to support families and seniors has grown exponentially during the Covid-19 pandemic. This is on top of our daily mission to feed our homeless and near-homeless neighbors.”
FEED YOUR SOUL features Montclair area musicians performing songs that feed their soul. The concert will go live on Facebook.com/FeedYourSoulMontclair on Friday, July 24 at 7:00 p.m.
Michael Reitman, an advisory board member and musician, will host the event.
“Montclair has a deep bench of talented musicians. Before the pandemic, every Saturday musicians performed in person at our beloved Toni’s Kitchen,” says Reitman. “Now that we can’t play live for the clients of Toni’s Kitchen, it’s great to have an outlet to perform online to raise money for the organization.”
The FEED YOUR SOUL lineup includes Zach Adleman, Luther Allison, The Bloomingfields, P.D. Brody, Anthony Hervey, Andrew Klewan, Bob Mellman, Zara Phillips, RO STAFa, the TNT Ramblers, Paul Ruderman, Melissa Schaffer, Alma Schneider, Sarah Wolman and more.
