Where do you live? East Orange

When did you move there? I moved back to East Orange in 2012.

Where did you grow up? I grew up in a few different places:  Newark, East Orange, Irvington, Norfolk, VA and Guam.

How do you make a living? OR What is your everyday passion? I am an entrepreneur, and I own Kreme & Krumbs in Bloomfield. I make ice cream for a living, and it is one of my passions!

Coffee, tea or … ?  Coffee in the AM and peppermint tea in the PM.

What’s your idea of a perfect weekend day? Relaxing with my family. Blueberry pancakes or French toast with blueberry sauce is a must for breakfast. We then chill and catch up on TV shows or movies recorded on the DVR.

What’s your favorite local restaurant? This is a tough question. I have several, but I’ll narrow it down to my weekly, if not daily, visits!

At 23 Skiddoo, a cup of coffee is a must! Montclair Bread Company,  Palmer’s Bakery in Maplewood and Liv Breads in Millburn to pick up Challah bread on Fridays for French toast Sundays in my house.

What’s on your nightstand? A bottle of Poland Spring, a box of tissues, and a pair of socks because my feet get cold.

What are you listening to? Meek Mill or Pusha T is currently on heavy rotation.

What are your current indulgences? Kreme & Krumbs, of course!

What talent you would most like to have? To sing like Patti LaBelle and rap like JayZ.

What’s the worst-kept (or best-kept!) secret about the area? The best -kept secret is Kreme & Krumbs in Bloomfield. (edit: Now in Montclair!)

What do you hope they say about you at your funeral? Anytime she was in my presence, she brought me joy.
