Moussa Fofana, a beloved Columbia High School junior, was the victim of a fatal shooting on June 6. Fofana’s life was celebrated at a vigil on June 12; and a GoFundMe page has raised more than $125,000 to help his family with funeral expenses.
Essex County Sheriff Armando Fontoura’s Crime Stoppers Program is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the death of Fofana.
The investigation, which is active and ongoing, is being handled by the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide/Major Crimes Task Force and the Maplewood Police Department.
