Montclair, NJ – Local Coffee in Watchung Plaza will feature the artworks of Ann Kraus in a fundraising event for the month of November. Kraus, a longtime Montclair resident, will display her colorful and vibrant mono-prints in a show titled “Random Daydreams”. All work will be for sale and proceeds go directly to PAWS the local animal rescue organization in Montclair.
Kraus is a member of The Art Students League in NYC, Studio Montclair, The Voice of Art Gallery and Pleiades Gallery in the Chelsea Art District. She had exhibited widely in both the New York area and northwestern Connecticut and pieces can be found in many private collections. Although a number of her paintings deal with landscapes and clouds, her abstract acrylic monoprints convey a freedom of color and design that invites the viewer to expand their imagination. PAWS is an animal rescue and sheltering group that has been serving Montclair and the surrounding communities for 44 years. The organization focuses on at-risk dogs and cats throughout New Jersey. They maintain two small sheltering facilities a (one for dogs and one for cats) as well as n established fostering network. Finding forever homes, spay-neuter, and humane education are all central to PAWS mission.
