- New Jersey Symphony principals step into the spotlight at NJPAC on Friday, March 4 at 8 pm. Bart Feller in a tour de force that lets the flute’s shining personalities sing out, and Jonathan Spitz in a piece many call the perfect cello concerto. Xian Zhang bookends this beauty with iconic pieces by the master orchestral colorist Maurice Ravel, ending with the slow-build hurricane of Boléro.
- SOPAC presents An Evening with Marc Cohn on Saturday, March 5 at 8 pm.
- Richard Stillman performs a Salute to the Irish at Van Vleck House & Gardens on Sunday, March 6 from 2 pm -3 pm. A Van Vleck favorite family event of Irish music, storytelling, and step dancing, accompanied by bagpipes, mandolin, banjo & guitar.

- See New Jersey Ballet perform Don Quixote on Saturday, March 5 at 8 pm.
- Broadway veteran Dwayne Clark brings his acclaimed show, A Portrait of Ray, to Vanguard Theater this weekend as part of the New Jersey Theater Alliance’s Stages Festival.
Film
- Cinema Lab at SOPAC Celebrates Women’s History Month with the Funny Women in Film series that kicks off this weekend with Bridesmaids.
- The West Orange Classic Film Festival continues on Sunday, March 6 with “Some Like It Hot” (1959), with Stephen Whitty returning.
- The Batman opens this weekend at The Clairidge.
Comedy
- Justin Willman wants to melt your brain while making you laugh. He’s best known as the star and creator of the hit Netflix series Magic For Humans. See him perform at The Wellmont on Friday, March 4 at 8 pm.
- Comedian Ron “Tater Salad” White grew from small-town Texas roots to become one of America’s most popular comics. See him perform at NJPAC on Saturday, March 5 at 8 pm.
