Join Montclair NAACP on Thursday, May 12 at 7:30 pm for a fascinating discussion with New Jersey Acting Attorney General, Matt Platkin. The event will be held in person at Temple Ner Tamid, 936 Broad Street, Bloomfield, NJ 07003. There will be a livestream option as well. This event is co-sponsored by Temple Ner Tamid, RAC-NJ and the Montclair chapter of the NAACP.

In light of the recent leaked Supreme Court ruling on “Roe vs Wade”, AG Platkin will address its its impact on reproductive rights and other Civil rights here in NJ and across the Country. Then, AG Plakin will turn his attention to many of the most important issues around equity and equality in New Jersey, from criminal justice reform to environmental justice to fair housing.
