Montclair, NJ – Faculty, staff, students and community members will rally Friday in front of the Student Center at Montclair State University in support of reproductive freedom.

Montclair State’s Compliance Coordinator Kat DeMarco sent out the following email to the campus community:

By now, we have all heard the devastating decision to overturn Roe v. Wade this past Friday. I would like to take a moment to call on the community to stand together and demonstrate our support for bodily autonomy and equitable reproductive healthcare.

This Friday, 7/1, from 12-2pm, I encourage faculty, staff, students, and community members to rally in front of the Student Center in support of reproductive freedom.

Although abortion is still accessible in New Jersey, that does not undermine the severity of this supreme court decision, nor does it invalidate the grief that so many of us are currently feeling. Let’s use this opportunity to gather, educate, and support one another.
