A goal of the Downtown West Orange Alliance is to help shine a spotlight on local businesses that while always can use more support, this year in particular will certainly benefit from boosted engagement with locals, surrounding communities, and other visitors as we move forward after several challenging years.

Nicole Josey, owner of Leilo’s Sweet Shop, a custom dessert studio that takes pride in their edible art, will be participating in this week’s Downtown Thursday event. She will be offering cupcake decorating to children. Josey shared, “We are so excited to be a part of Downtown Thursdays this year! It will be a great chance to meet the community and talk to them about what Leilo’s is all about.”

“The kickoff event in June was a blast,” said Meg Brill, Executive Director of the Downtown West Orange Alliance. “Since the Alliance has been conducting this Downtown Thursday’s event, more and more people look forward to it and plan this into their summer schedules. Hosting the activities in different sections of the downtown really allows attendees to explore our town in every direction!”

Registration is not required but is encouraged in order to receive updates on the event and more information are participating organizations and businesses.
