The Township of Montclair presents its annual Holiday Tree Lighting at Church Street Plaza, Thursday, December 1st, 2022 at 6:00 p.m., with special appearances by Montclair Community Band, Toy Soldiers and Acapella Singing Group. Of course, Santa and Mrs. Claus will also make a visit to this “snowy” winter festival!
Bloomfield is also holding its annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony at 7 p.m. on Thursday at 1129 Broad Street, in Bloomfield. There will be music, desserts, hot chocolate and a special visit from the big guy in red.
Glen Ridge will hold its annual Holiday Tree Lighting in front of the Municipal Building on Sunday, December 4, from 5:00 pm to 6:00pm. There will be a performance by Gas Lamp Players and hot cocoa and cookies will be provided by The Friends of the Library.
Next Tuesday, December 6, head on over to Upper Montclair for another tree lighting at 6:30 p.m. on the lawn of St. James Church (corner of Valley and Bellevue) with hot chocolate and performances by Beyond the Boogie Dance Company and Montclair High School’s Passing Notes.
