Glen Ridge, NJ – Trains on the Montclair-Boonton line were suspended in both directions after a tree fell onto the overhead wires at the Glen Ridge train station around 7 a.m., also causing a small fire.
NJ Transit announced substitute bus service would be provided between Newark Broad Street and Montclair State University. NJ TRANSIT rail tickets and passes are being cross honored by NJ TRANSIT bus and private carriers. Check NJ Transit before you travel to see if service has resumed.
