New episodes of Montclair Kimberley Academy’s podcast, “Inquiry to Insight,” feature interviews with alumni “who have made history, reinvented their crafts and changed the world,” according to a press release from the school. 

The three-part series, titled, “Breaking Barriers,” is hosted by Steve Valentine, the assistant head of the upper school and director of academic leadership.

The series features the following alumni:

  • Polly Smith ’67 and Lisa Lindahl ’67, members of the National Inventors Hall of Fame, who paved the way for women in the sporting goods industry.
  • Evan Wittenberg ’87, who has helped build companies, including Ancestry.com, Box and Google, is now creating a work culture that will change the world.
  • Michael Yamashita ’67 has been a photographer at National Geographic for more than 40 years, is the recipient of a host of industry awards, a teacher and lecturer, a producer of two documentary feature films, the author of 16 books and now dabbles in NFTs.
