Ten days of celebrations culminate in Montclair Pride 2023, presented by Audi of America, on Saturday, June 10, from 12 to 8 p.m.
Montclair Pride 2023 takes place in downtown Montclair: Bloomfield Avenue, Church Street and Park Street. The event is free with a suggested $10 donation at entry points to support Montclair Pride and Out Montclair.

Highlights of Montclair Pride
- Montclair Pride will feature three stages: the Main Stage on Bloomfield Avenue at Fullerton, the Bravitas Family Stage on Park Street and the Open Call Stage on Church Street.
- More than 200 sponsors and vendors will showcase Montclair’s beloved businesses, restaurants, community partners, advocates, artists, designers, writers and creatives. Montclair Center BID is a collaborating sponsor of Montclair Pride.
- The Bravitas Family Stage: inventive, inclusive, all-ages entertainment, plus a Family Pride Fun Zone. The Bravitas Group, Park Street Auto, and Guerriero Gelato and Cakes are sponsors of the Bravitas Family Stage.
- The return of the popular biergarten takeover of South Park Street with special Montclair Pride Beer in partnership with Montclair Brewery, proudly Black owned and operated by Denise and Leo Sawadogo.
- Inspiring speeches, incredible performers and performances, including comedian, out lesbian and New Jersey native Judy Gold, who returns as emcee; welcoming performances from Broadway star and Montclair neighbor Patrick Wilson; Dagmara Dominiczyk from HBO’s “Succession”; Tony-nominated star of “Jagged Little Pill,” Kathryn Gallagher; singer Aidan Doran; singer Brandi Massey; trans comedian Jaye McBride; the cast of “Spring Awakening” from Montclair’s Vanguard Theater; the New Jersey Gay Men’s Chorus; singer songwriter Lilli Lewis; the Cedar Grove High School cast of “The Prom,” an LGBTQ inclusive performance saved by local community members, and Rose from “RuPaul’s Drag Race” Season 13. It all culminates in a two-hour street dance party hosted by DJ Vito Fun and after-party at Porta Montclair.
- On the Bravitas Family Stage (18 Park Street): Lady Keyante returns as emcee and welcomes Montclair’s own Drums of Thunder from Hillside Elementary, the Montclair High School Choir, School of Rock Montclair Band and Caring Cabarets, teen performers who deliver music and joy around town as part of a service program to raise money for Montclair nonprofits, including Out Montclair; Jazz House Kids; Beyond the Boogie Dance Studio; Sofistafunk The Skirt Co.; Sunny Side Up!; Chris Pierce; Bern Strong; and Rich Hennessey.
- On the Montclair Pride On-Call Stage (Church Street): host Mimi Sashimi and… you! Amateur performers are invited to sign up to show your stuff. Elaborate on your interpretation of the theme of Montclair Pride: Be You. Be Heard.
