Get those doggy costumes ready! The annual “Strut Your Mutt” Canine Halloween Costume Parades return this month, offering three weekends to unleash your creativity and let your furry friends strut their stuff.
“The Essex County Dog Parks have become popular places for dog owners to bring their faithful companions. In turn, the canine costume parades are growing into a favorite Halloween celebration for everyone to enjoy,” said Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr.
“Strut Your Mutt” is a free event with prizes for first, second and third places in various categories. So, get your dog’s cutest, spookiest, or hilarious costume ready and join the festivities. You don’t even need a dog to attend. Everyone is invited to watch the parades and enjoy the costumed canines.
