
3 probationary Montclair firefighters complete fire academy training
Three probationary Montclair firefighters have completed the Morris County Fire Academy 10-week training course and completed all requirements to be firefighters in the State of New Jersey.
Academy training included a physical fitness component, academic course work, live burn training, hazmat training as well as a host of other requirements. The new recruits must successfully complete a probationary year before being sworn-in as fully-fledged firefighters.
They are:
• Connor McCann: He currently lives in Montclair, graduated Verona High School, and worked as a dispatcher in Verona before being hired as a Montclair firefighter.
• John Auletta: He is a lifelong Montclair resident, graduated from Montclair High School and was a college student before being hired as a Montclair firefighter.
• Tyler Diggs: He is a Lifelong Montclair resident, graduated from MHS, and was a college student before being hired as a Montclair firefighter.
